Lynn Pavlis-Jenkins is founder and owner of LPJ Consulting, focused on Leadership, Performance and Joy.  Our clients are a combination of corporate, public and not-for-profit leaders and organizations. We provide services in keynote speaking, executive coaching, leadership development, organization development, career development and team development. With over 25 years’ experience as a leader, Lynn is expertly skilled in coaching teams of successful individuals that deliver breakthrough results.

Lynn holds expertise in leading organizational change, strategic planning, leadership development, coaching at the individual and team level, facilitation, organization development and leading training programs.  As a business professional she has extensive experience in sales and client servicing.  Her accomplishments include significant improvement in profitability, productivity, and employee engagement.  As an internal corporate consultant she provided leadership for several key programs:  executive coaching, organization design & development, management & leadership development, voice of the customer, employee engagement, talent management, succession planning, performance management, career development, Total Quality Management, Lean, and Six Sigma.

Lynn has a Bachelor of Science degree, from University of Illinois-Urbana, majoring in Microbiology and Immunology.  She is qualified in Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and certified in Profilor 360 degree feedback, Crucial Conversations and Crucial Confrontation, Emotional Intelligence, Mind Gym, Situational Leadership, Speed of Trust, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and Principled Centered Leadership. Lynn is a Business Coach and is a licensed facilitator for Corporate Coach U-The Coaching Clinic.

She joined The Northern Trust in 2005 as a Business Development and Relationship Management Consultant.  She worked for 10 years in Organization Design, Development, Engagement and Learning & Development.  Prior to The Northern Trust, Lynn worked at Abbott Laboratories for 17 years.  She was initially hired to work on blood bank screening tests and analyzers for clinical laboratories.  After 4 years as a research scientist, she made a career change into Learning and Organization Design & Development.  For the next 13 years, Lynn focused on sales and client servicing, strategic planning, executive coaching, leadership development, change management, talent management, team building and organization development.

Lynn’s clients have included individuals and teams from a variety of organizations and industries including: Abbott Laboratories, AbbVie, Hospira, Allstate, Northern Trust, The Private Bank, start-up pharma companies, hospitals, and not-for-profit organizations.  Client engagements have included a wide variety of industries, such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, financial services, manufacturing, education, and government.

Lynn lives in Chicago, Illinois, USA.  She is married to Mark Jenkins, who is an engineer with the State of Illinois, and a retired Navy Captain. They have one son who is currently serving as a Lieutenant in the US Navy as a helicopter pilot instructor.  Their daughter-in-love served as a Navy Lieutenant and is now a business owner, specializing in Project Management.  Lynn’s greatest JOY are her two granddaughters.
